Attorney Positions

The Pima County Attorney’s Office is actively recruiting for Attorney-Unclassified (7660) in the Criminal Division. Employment status is full time and is not subject to the Pima County Merit System Rules. This recruitment is open until filled.

The Criminal Division prosecutes misdemeanors, felonies, and juvenile cases. The Civil Division provides legal services to the elected officials, department directors, boards and commissions of Pima County.


Desired Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of law. Admission to the Arizona State Bar at time of appointment.Salary: Commensurate with qualifications.

• IT-Applications Developer-Senior – 4741
Position open until filled

Involved in all technical aspects of software applications related to systems applications and on-going support services for specific customer segments of the Pima County Information Technology (IT) Department or within an Elected Official's IT team. This classification is distinguished from the IT Applications Developer classification by its assignment to more complex, specific applications development and maintenance tasks.

Volunteers/Internships
The Pima County Attorney's Office is seeking motivated volunteers and interns who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the criminal justice system and working to help the County Attorney represent the people of Pima County. The County Attorney's Office offers a variety of opportunities for eligible high school, college, law school, and paralegal students. The selection process takes 1-2 weeks.
